Yoga originated in India and comes from the words meaning to unite. Through Yoga one can join with the "higher",universal, and unified “Self". Yoga is an inward journey to understand our true nature, there are four main paths for achieving this goal:
Karma Yoga: Path of duty and action
Raja Yoga: the royal path" or Patanjal’s eight limbed or "Asthanga" Yoga. Hatha Yoga is one of its 8 limbs; this is most often referred as yoga.
Bhakti Yoga: Path of devotion
Jnana Yoga: Path of knowledge
One also hears of Kundalini, Mantra, and Tantra Yoga. These are not mutually exclusive, and many elements are common to all. Your focus is dependent on your inclinations and orientation.

Yoga is beyond exercises and addresses more than the physical body. In the Yoga system, there is a spiritual anatomy, known as “koshas” or casings. The five rings of Abha Yoga logo depict these layers. As one advances, the subtler energies infuse the lesser levels. The highest level is the blissful utlra-cosmic state, the home of the radiant "Self". Abha Yoga is this journey home.
